I have been helping people find their dream homes and sell their existing homes for over 20 years. What I enjoy most about my work is helping people. Moving, and most life situations that are happening when moves occur, is always stressful. I work hard to make the process as easy and smooth as possible.

When I first began in the real estate business, my tagline was “Friendliest Realtor in the West.” That’s a bit hokey, but I do think you will enjoy working with me. I am a very good listener, and I think I can help people through the process of determining their priorities and what’s really important to them in a home. Many transactions experience a challenge or two along the way. I think the strongest asset I bring is my experience, anticipating potential problems, trying to avoid them, and, if necessary, solving problems.

If you’re interested in background information, I grew up on a farm in northeastern Kansas, the oldest of five children. I received a degree in speech from Kansas State University, and, after serving my country in Vietnam, returned to school and received another degree in accounting from Wichita State. It didn’t take me long to find out that I was much more interested in people than in numbers.

I have worked with RE/MAX and other real estate companies, before joining Metro Brokers. I have my own company and make all of my own business decisions, unencumbered by someone else’s office or company policies.

When you work with me you get my full attention all the way through the closing and beyond. I don’t hand you off to someone else in my “team” in the middle of the process.

When I take an occasional day off, it is usually a weekday trip to the mountains for hiking, cross country skiing or snowshoeing and visiting friends with my wife Mary Ann (a real estate attorney and broker). I also enjoy bicycling, walking, socializing, my church volunteer work, and continuing to try to give advice to my adult children, Maren (a law student at the Univ. of Wyoming) and Chase (a website developer).
